Veshenskaya is a cultural and literal capital of Don, motherland of a great Russian writer, Noble prize-winner M.A. Sholokhov. M.A. Sholokhov's reserve museum is the heart of the stanitsa.
Tourist department of M.A. Sholokhov's reserve museum has worked out several tours. They are:
Literature Programs:

The state reserve museum offers a weekend tour
1st day: arrival, accommodation in the in the guest house, supper, rest
2nd day: fishing (leaving at 4, packed lunches), open air dinner (at 12), supper (at 18), return to the hotel (at 19)
3d day: breakfast (at 9), touring Veshenskaya including the M.A.Sholokhov's state reserve museum, dinner (at 13.30), departure (at 14.00)

The state reserve museum offers a weekend tour "Upper Don Folklore"
We invite you to have a wonderful tour into the song-loving Don region where traditions of singing are carefuliy kept absorbing the beautiful melodies , wisdom of forgotten rites.
The Program:
1st day: arrival, accommodation in the in the guest house, supper, rest
2nd day: touring Veshenskaya including the M.A. Sholokhov's state reserve museum (possibly Sholokhov's house situated in Sholokhov street 103, Sholokhov country estate, literary excursion) accompanied by "Zarnitsa" folklore group, picnic together with "Zarnitsa" at 14.00. 19.00 - return to the hotel, 19.30 - supper.
3d day: 9.00 - breakfast, leaving for Krujilinskyi village, excursion, 14.30 - departure.
Health Program "Healing forces of nature":
a) medical treatment and rest in balneological resort of Veshenskaya sanatorium
b) complete course of medical treatment
Students Programs:
a) socials, sharing of experience, rest (on the basis of teachers' training college of Veshenskaya) b) arrangement of seniors' party on Sholokhov land (prearranged application)
Winter Entertaining Programs:
a) "Winter fun" (going on sledges, under ice fishing, open air picnics).
b) New Year and Christmas Programs in Veshenskaya
The state reserve museum owns a three-storey guest house (accommodation for 20 people) and hotel complex "Kazachy Kuren".

The state reserve museum owns a three-storey guest house (accommodation for 20 people)
- ground floor: kitchen, furnished hall, lounge with a mantelpiece, TV, lavatory, bathroom
- first floor: 4 rooms, lavatory, bathroom
- second floor: 2 rooms, lavatory, bathroom
Note: The hall, lounge with a mantelpiece are air conditioned; new furniture. Three and four seater rooms might be rearranged into double rooms.
The guest house is very convenient in conducting negotiations of 6 or 8 people (round tat attributes, service).
Hotel complex «Kazachy Kuren»
M.A. Sholokhov's state museum-reserve presents a new hotel complex "Kazachy Kuren", which is situated in the very centre of stanitsa Veshenskaya near the farm estate of an outstanding Russian writer, the Nobel Prize winner M.A. Sholokhov. "Kazachy Kuren" is a farmstead reconstructed according to archival materials and photographs.
Here there are 6 rooms for 12 guests. In the kuren there are de luxe, single and double rooms. In the outhouse there are single, double and three-man rooms.
In the house the guests have a telephone, a television, a kitchen and a stylized dining-room with a Russian oven at their disposal.
On the territory of the farmstead one can see a garage, a parking-lot and a small Cossack summer wicker pavilion. The territory is 24 hours guarded.
Guests are offered a rich excursion program. They can visit different objects of MA Sholokhov's state museum-reserve, stables, make a trip to the 100-year old oak and lebyazhy yar (swan steep bank) and enjoy beautiful nature, etc.
On a special demand a theatrical show where guests can join Cossacks and the performance of the folklore group "Zarnitsa" can be organized. One can also enjoy fishing on the lakes of the Sholokhov district.
